            The Light        - a conversation between two minds
            =========

It's Sunday Morning, I'm lying on my bed
Thoughts of yesterdays conversations looping around in my head
What should I do, what do I need to know
To make it all go away and bother me no more.

Through the glass I see a dark grey piece of the world known to me
A world of angry men with angry hearts too hard to please
The songs are silent, but the words are true
Tomorrow is too long before I see the black sky blue.

It's a strange affliction.. I want to be free
You know I need you.. help me find what I just can't see

      (Show me!)
                    Time is high for me to find the light I need 
      (So show me!)
                    It's time for change, let things never be the same..

By a sea of green the flag flys deep from the ground beneath my feet
Through the fog I see a passing glims of reality.
A flame that flickers, a fortress in a storm,
A nightmare I live though without a wakeup call.

     (Can't you see the sunshine dancing?)
     (Can't you see the honey trees?)
                    Can't you see the the vale of mirrors -
                    Which hangs around me, please...

                    I can't read this heart of mine -

                    I used to see but now I'm blind....
