 I return from the place of yesterday
 Going home on a bus alone again, 
 As the world passes by with a big-sky blue
 Every signt I see reminds me of you

    I see your face on a jaded poster
    I see your eyes in a passing stranger
    The cloths you wear in a closed shop window, 
    The style of your hair on a thousand people
 

 Wherever I look there seems to be a sign
 Of the love and life you left behind
 Affecting my world with your sweet affection
 With your smile and your laugh came my resurrection

    I search for you on every street and corner
    To catch a glimps of the face I remember
    I see your reflection clearly in my mind -
    The sweet memory of you haunts me all the time.

    Your presence echos along the railway platform
    I hear your voice wispering softly on my telephone, 
    A faded notice on the inner city wall
    Reminds me that your not with me, anymore..

    I feel a void empty inside of me
    A wave of a hand reminds me of how it used to be
    Something's missing inside the silent home,
    Something's gone and left me alone
    Without you - my love.

 Where can I discover the place my heart searches to find,
 Is there a door in the darkness where I stumble blind,
 I hold out my arms to feel your tender touch
 To taste once more the lips I miss so much...
